Tecnovit vivits Salon SPACE 2013

Tecnovit visits the 27th International Livestock Trade Fair SPACE held from 10 to 13 of September in Parc-Expo, Rennes, France.

Representatives of Tecnovit staff travelled to Parc-Expo of Rennes to see at first hand the international exhibition of livestock production SPACE 2013.

The final balance of this 27th edition beats all the records in comparison with the previous exhibitions. According to the information given by the organizers, there were 114 591 visitors, 6% more than in 2012, including 12 298 foreign visitors (+ 12%), from 110 countries, highlighting the strong increase in visitors from Asia and West Africa.

These data confirm the position of SPACE as one of the leading animal production shows in the world, which is corroborated by the presence of the international press of the sector. The International Club, a space assigned to international meetings, had a favourable environment for business negotiation development.

More than 1 300 exhibitors, mainly French ones, showed high quality and could represent themselves and contact a wide audience with the intention of developing their particular markets abroad. Innov’space presented innovative products to the visitors, facilitating the promotion and technical enrichment of the professionals. 63 awards were given, 5 of which received a special prize.

The Prime Minister, Jean-Marc AYRAULT, visited SPACE and could address the agricultural world within a national context, presently difficult for France.

L’Open Space presented high French breeds which were exhibited throughout the show with a special attention to the progress made in genetic selection.

During this exhibition the memory of the fair President Jean-Michel LEMETAYER was honoured, who died some months ago, with the acts of appreciation for the SPACE of international, professional and convivial reference in animal production sector.

Tecnovit could enjoy the meetings with the companies in order to develop its key function in animal production which is animal nutrition.

The date of the next event in 2014 is already fixed from 16 to 19 of September.
